Add a new template

After clicking the add button in the template list you will be presented with the new template screen:

  1. Name accepts a title for the new template. This does not have to be unique, but it is recommended.

  2. Template type allows you to select a template type for your template. There are four template type options. Your available options will depend on your subscription:

    • Formatter should be used for creating CV cover sheets. This template type allows the attachment of a Bullhorn file, such as a candidate's CV. Only available for the candidate and vacancy entities.

    • Simple is the most common template type. It can be created against every entity and is a blank canvas for any content.

    • Client terms is restricted to the company entity. When the user runs this template they must select a client contact before generating the AwesomeDocs document.

    • Search summary is restricted to the vacancy entity. These templates are designed to present a list of the candidates shortlisted for a vacancy. Often used to provide brief notes on and the status of each candidate for a client.

  3. Bullhorn entity will list the options avilable depending on the template type selected. Select the Bullhorn entity you want to create the template against. This will be the same Bullhorn entity from which the user will generate the AwesomeDoc in Bullhorn from.

  4. Save will create the new AwesomeDocs template, based on your selection.

Clicking Save, it can take a few seconds for the new template to be created. Please be patient and do not click the button multiple times. If you do, multiple templates of the same name will be created.
