Once the New template has been created the template editor will open. You will see the same template editor when accessing existing templates.
The title of the template can be edited by simply clicking on the text.
Public NO|YES. No means the template is set to Private and not visible in Bullhorn. New Templates are set to private by default. When you are ready you can made them public. If a template is set to Yes the template is available in Kyloe AwesomeDocs within Bullhorn.
Config opens the for the template. This is where you upload your base Word document.
Test allows you to test your template without having to make it public within Bullhorn. Clicking the little arrow next to Test will present the following Test Detail dialog:
In order to test the template the builder does require appropriate IDs from Bullhorn. Depending on the template and the entity it is created against, there may be multiple IDs required. Set the output to Docx option to Yes and click on Test. A Word document will be generated for viewing / checking. NOTE: Testing templates that require a file attachment e.g. a candidate CV. You can't select any Bullhorn files in the Kyloe AwesomeDocs Template builder. To test a Formatter template with the file attachment, first set the template to Public in the Template editor. In Kyloe AwesomeDocs within Bullhorn select the template and the file before clicking Create to generate/preview in Word the final document.
Copy duplicates the entire template including the configuration settings. The new copy will be set to private, but will have exactly the same title as the original. Once duplicated, a view link will appear. Click the view link to open the new template. You can then edit the copy as any other template. NOTE: This is the recommended way to update a working template with significant changes. Copy the existing template, make the changes and then, when complete, set the new template to public and the original to private.
Save saves any changes to the template. It is recommended that you save often.
Add Section will to the template.
Add File Attachment will section to the template. Only Formatter template types allow file attachments, as they are usually used for attaching the candidates' original CVs.
