Business units - The Onboarding packs
Access & Overview
Please note this section is only visible if you're an Admin user of Kyloe Connect Onboarding.
The Business units section is a core part of Kyloe Connect Onboarding's configuration.
Business units allow you to customise onboarding packs based on your organisational structure in terms of:
General information requirements (General information)
Workflows (Additional information)
Compliance settings
Right to Work
Hierarchical Structure
Onboarding packs are organised in a hierarchy. Any configuration applied at a top-level unit /branch will automatically cascade down to all child units beneath it.

You can override inherited settings at lower levels if needed. For example, a child unit can have a different General information setup than its parent.

Each Business unit features an 'Actions' menu in the top right corner where you can:
Add child business unit: allows you to add a child/ren Business unit(s) to this pack/branch
Edit Business unit: allows you to change the name of the Business unit
Copy link: gives you the URL for this Business unit - you click to copy - and can give this URL for the Candidate to register against this spesific unit/branch
Each Business unit also has the following Sections:
Workflow - This is the Workflow selector to choose the appropriate Workflow created under the Workflow option in the Admin menu. Changes to Workflows only affect Candidates who apply after the new Workflow version changes are implemented.
Conditional general information, here you can specify which questions that Candidates are required to answer under 'General information' and determine whether certain pages are required or not.
The sections can be placed behind specific phases; for example, Payment Details may be requested after phase one.
Unlocking the Conditional general information

In order to be able to configure the general information, you first need to click on the padlock icon to unlock the general infomation for the Business Unit / Branch and potentially any connected children.
You can then choose to edit a section, using the pencil icon on the bottom of each section, a section can be set as 'Required' or 'Not required' depending on the requirements of your organisation. You can also set the section to be behind Phases:

Up to five phases can be configured, controlled via the expand Section's required options.
To revert general information changes, select the 'restore to default option'.
