Kyloe AwesomeDocs allows you to edit an existing document that is located under the entity records Files.
You’ll need to follow the same steps to as when you want to from a template.
From the "What do you want to do?" options select Edit Existing
You’ll be shown a list of existing files saved against the record you are on.
Select the existing file you wish to edit from the list.
The file will now be made available, and an Open Word? pop-up box may appear before opening the file for viewing/editing within Word. If you just want to make changes to the existing file name and/or file extension, click on Cancel.
Once within Word you can edit as desired, clicking the save icon in the top-left corner to update Kyloe AwesomeDocs
Once the changes have been saved to Kyloe AwesomeDocs or if you Cancel the option to view/ edit in Word, you’ll see the below Your document is ready pop-up box.
The existing file’s name will be in big letters. You can also see the options to:
Edit File will reopen Word with the option to edit the existing file (again).
Save will save the new existing file version against the related entity in Bullhorn.
Email will open the Bullhorn emailer with the current version of the existing document attached. The document will also be automatically saved against the Bullhorn entity.
To make changes to the file name, the file extension and/ or remove the original version before saving the file to Bullhorn: Click on the big file name
The Your document is ready shows the following options:
Edit the existing file name in the text box provided. Bullhorn file names are limited to 100 characters, including the file extension.
Change the file extension if you want to change it from .docx to pdf / pdf to .docx by ticking box next to the corresponding icon. Leave as is if no change is needed.
Remove old file ticking this check box will delete the existing file you selected and replace it with the new version. If Remove old file is left unticked a new document will be created in addition to the existing file you first selected.
Click on Save to save the new version of the existing file to Bullhorn. Once successfully saved to Bullhorn, you’ll get an onscreen confirmation to confirm the entity it saved to and its ID.
