Kyloe AwesomeDocs can be set up to integrate with Docusign.

If Docusign is enabled for the template you selected, you can send your document from Kyloe AwesomeDocs directly to Docusign for signing.

Envelope configuration

Your document’s Docusign envelope settings are prepopulated based on the selected template’s envelope configuration and settings. However, you can make changes for the specific document before you send it to Docusign.

In order to send an AwesomeDoc out via Docusign you will need to ensure that the envelope settings are correctly populated.

You can do this from the Document Created pop-up:

The Edit envelope button is for editing the completed Docusign envelope within Docusign itself. You must have a valid Docusign account in order to login and edit the envelope.

Envelope configuration settings

Clicking the cog to the right of the Edit envelope button, opens the envelope settings.

  1. The cog button opens and closes the envelope configuration.

  2. Current Recipients is the list of the current recipients in their signing order, top to bottom. Clicking the edit icon will allow you to edit a particular recipient and the delete button removes them from the envelope.

It is not possible to reorder the recipients, you must delete and re-add in a different order.

NOTE: The number of recipients must be at least as many as there are appropriate recipients in the template. If the document is expecting three recipients and you attempt to send the envelope with two the integration will either error or send incorrectly.

  3. Recipient Type allows you to select between between a:

Bullhorn entity the list of entities is based on the entity the AwesomeDoc has been generated against.

Person allows you to manual add the name and email address of a person. This can also be used as a Recipient Placeholder.

NOTE: After editing or creating a new recipient the Add/Update Recipient button must be clicked to confirm the recipient for the envelope.

  4. The email subject and body can be amended for the specific document. AwesomeDocs syntax can be entered, in the correct format. Docusign uses the same email subject and content for all recipients.

NOTE: Docusign have a limit of 100 characters for the email subject. This limit cannot be exceeded and relates to the text after any syntax has been replaced.

Send envelope

Once you are happy with the AwesomeDoc and the envelope configuration, the AwesomeDoc can be sent to Docusign by clicking the Send Envelope button.

A green bar will appear indicating that the AwesomeDoc has been successfully sent to Docusign.

You can now close Kyloe AwesomeDocs.

Once all recipients have signed the document in Docusign it will be returned and saved back to Bullhorn as a “-signed.pdf” file. The signed Document will be saved to the entity record determined in the template’s configuration.
