Managing a candidate record
Once you find and click on a candidate's record, a pop-out window will appear showing the full candidate record.
For now, let’s focus on the top menu:

At the top of the candidate record, you’ll find a navigation bar that allows you to move between different sections of the candidate’s onboarding journey. These sections include:
Each section in the top menu is accompanied by a status icon that indicates its completion state. These icons give you a quick visual summary of the candidate’s overall readiness. Clicking on a red icon will take you directly to the section that needs attention:
Green: Completed and ready
Red: Indicates an issue that needs to be addressed if you click on them you will go to the relevant area and if you hoover over them it will tell you more information
Black: Not mandatory and not completed
Candidate details, status and date created.
When viewing a candidate’s full record in the pop-out window, you’ll find three key icons in the top-right corner that help you manage the view efficiently:
Get link: Generates a direct link to the candidate’s record. You can copy and share this link internally with colleagues for quick access.
Performs a reload of the candidate record window. This clears cached data and reloads the view from scratch—useful after updates or if errors occur.
Close: Closes the candidate record pop-out and returns you to the main Candidate Search results grid.
Actions drop down menu allows you to:
Reset password
Archive candidates: this action is only visible for Admin users
Returning candidate: Only available when the candidate is in a status of, rejected, Validated or withdrawn. This is when a candidate comes back to work for you. It will create them a new record.
Delete Candidate : Only available for admins it will delete a candidate and all its data.
Change email address: This will change the candidates email address. Because it is used as login information it cannot be updated in Bullhorn.

Status Bar: At the top of the screen, there's a status bar that indicates the candidate's progress. Green means everything is fine, while red indicates an issue that needs to be addressed if you click on them you will go to the relevant area and if you hoover over them it will tell you more information.
Candidate Versions: At the bottom, you can see different versions of the candidate's record if they have registered multiple times. Clicking on a version will take you to that specific record.
Assigning Branches: You can assign new branches to the candidate if needed, for example, if they want to apply for a different job.
Details and Workflow Steps: The details section contains general candidate information. The steps section shows the workflow steps the candidate has completed. You can delete or redo steps if necessary.
Work History: You can edit or delete the candidate's work history details if they are incorrect.
Education: You can edit or delete the candidate's education details if they are incorrect
Right to Work: This section includes the candidate's ID, where you need to perform an MRZ check and upload a PDF version of the ID document.
Other Documents: This is where an admin can upload any other document against a candidate and on validate it will be sent to Bullhorn.
Validation: Once the candidate has completed all required steps, you can validate their record and send it to Bullhorn. This will lock down the candidate's record, preventing further edits.
Editing candidate details
You can also edit data in the candidate details area when the candidate is in a registered or unlocked status. However, payment details and selfies must be updated directly by the candidate.
